Users

In this section, you can manage your organization’s users, including active team members, invited users, and service users. You can assign roles, manage permissions, and invite new users to join your organization.

Invited Users

In the Invited Users section, you can view a list of users who have been invited to join your organization but haven’t accepted the invitation yet. You can resend invitations or remove users from this list.

To invite new users, refer to the Invite Users guide.

Team Members

In the Team Members section, you can manage your current users and their roles. This view shows a list of all active users, including their assigned roles and the date they joined the organization. You can also edit roles or remove users from your organization as needed.

Service Users

Service Users are special-purpose accounts used to programmatically access Splight’s API or services. These users are not tied to a human and are typically used by systems or automation scripts.

You can create and manage Service Users in this section, assign roles to control their access, and generate credentials (such as API tokens) for secure integration.

Service Users are ideal for:

  • Backend-to-backend integrations

  • Automated tasks

  • Data pipelines

⚠️ Keep credentials for Service Users secure, and rotate them periodically according to your security policies.
